I lowkey think Heart is what Brain was supposed to be. I found it a lot more insightful for understanding the VSM in practical terms. But a series on it would be great.
Also when it comes to style - I wonder if he isnt referencing something well known, rather than it being his own idea. I.e. Tannenbaum & Shcmidts Leadership continuum, or Kurt Lewins Leadership Styles.
